On January 6, IVI RMA North America, a subsidiary of IVI RMA, announced that it acquired three fertility practices from Global Premier Fertility.  

Reproductive Health and Wellness Center (RHWC) is a fertility clinic based out of one location in Laguna Hills, California. According to its website, there is one physician (Dr. Marcus Rosencrantz) on staff who is supported by a team of four employees, including one nurse practitioner. 

Rise Fertility, based in Newport Beach and Mission Viejo, California, is led by Dr. Sanaz Ghazal. The company is known for its fertility care, focus on personalized treatment plans and high-touch patient experiences. 

Based in Rolling Hills Estates, California, Halo Fertility is known for its fertility care, blending the latest technology and understanding to deliver patient-centered care. According to its website, there is one physician on staff: Dr. Matthew Macer. 

IVI RMA North America, comprising Reproductive Medicine Associates, Boston IVF, Toronto-based TRIO and Pearl Mini-IVF Fertility Clinic in San Diego, spans 22 In vitro fertilization  laboratories and has helped women achieve pregnancies which have led to the birth of more than 220,000 babies to date. 

The integration of RHWC, Rise Fertility and Halo Fertility into the IVI RMA North America network will begin in January 2025 and focus on ensuring a seamless experience for patients, staff and stakeholders, with no disruption to ongoing treatments. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. 

According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the fourth Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2025, and the first in the OB/GYN specialty. Throughout all of 2024, there were 17 OB/GYN transactions reported.
