Physician Growth Partners (PGP) announced that it advised on a Physician Medical Group (PMG) transaction. PGP advised Allergy & Asthma Associates of Michigan on its acquisition by Parallel ENT & Allergy Partners. The financial terms were not disclosed.
Allergy & Asthma Associates of Michigan is an ear, nose & throat (ENT) practice with one location in Royal Oak, Michigan. According to its website, there are four physicians on staff, who are supported by a team of seven physician’s assistants.
Launched in July 2022, Parallel ENT & Allergy Partners is backed by Trinity Hunt Partners, a growth-oriented private equity firm with deep healthcare experience. It is a management services organization for ear, nose and throat and allergy practices. Parallel supports 93 providers and more than 443 employees across 19 locations in five states.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 471th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2024, and the 11th in the ENT specialty. This is also the eighth transaction that PGP has advised on in 2024.
