Health Advocates Network continues to expand with the acquisition of Staff America Medical Staffing. The deal was announced and closed on December 16, 2024.
Staff America Medical Staffing is based in Ocala, Florida, and specializes in placing registered nurses, licensed practical nurses/licensed vocational nurses and therapists on both local and travel assignments in Florida and the Midwest. It was founded in 2001.
Health Advocates Network specializes in healthcare staffing solutions, providing a range of services within the healthcare sector. The company was founded in 2020 and is based in Boca Raton, Florida.
Staff America founder and CEO Michael Arthur will remain involved with Staff America on a consulting basis as he moves toward retirement. He has a management team that runs the business and will remain with the combined firm. Terms of the transaction were not announced.
This marks Health Advocates’ fourth transaction of Q4 2024. The company acquired WorkSquare Healthcare Staffing Solutions in October, DiagnosTemps in November and Medical Temps, Inc. in December.
