On December 13, Espire Dental announced that it completed the acquisition of two dental practices: Sauvage PLLC and Tranquility Dental Wellness. The financial terms were not disclosed.
Sauvage PLLC is a five-practice dental service organization (DSO) located in Seattle, Washington. It is run by Dr. Paul Sauvage and has been providing dental care for more than 20 years.
Tranquility Dental Wellness, a portfolio company of private equity firm Rallyday Partners, operates out of four locations in the state of Washington: Tumwater, Tacoma, Spanaway and Lacey. According to its website, there are seven physicians on staff.
Founded in 2018 and headquartered in Denver, Colorado, Espire Dental is an integrated dental organization with 27 practices in Colorado, California, Oklahoma and Wyoming. It seeks and acquires practices with a clinical philosophy that focuses on the patient experience.
With these transactions, Espire Dental has completed four acquisitions in 2024. Previously, it purchased one practice in California and one in Texas. In 2023, the company completed three acquisitions.
According to data in the LevinPro HC database, there have been 452nd Physician Medical Group acquisitions announced throughout 2024, and 11 in the DSO specialty. Throughout all of 2023, there were four DSO transactions reported and in 2022, 18 DSO deals were announced.
