Smile Partners USA, backed by Evanston, Illinois-based private equity firm Silver Oak Services Partners, announced that it acquired Bridgemill Dentistry.
Bridgemill Dentistry is a family and cosmetic dentistry practice with one location in Canton, Georgia. According to its website, the practice is run by two physicians: Dr. Scott Merritt and Dr. L. Michael Cox. It was founded in 2002.
Smile Partners USA is a management support organization that offers back-office resources and services to premier, independent private dental practices and boutique group practices throughout Michigan, Georgia, Illinois and Alabama.
This transaction represents Smile Partners USA’s fourth acquisition of the year, and its second in Georgia. The company has also made acquisitions in Illinois and Colorado. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 318th Physician Medical Group transaction of the year, and the 167th in the dental specialty.
