Värde Partners and Unity Medical Properties announce a joint venture to acquire an ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The price is $14.5 million.
The ASC’s tenant is Laser and Surgery Center of the Palm Beaches. It is a single-story building that sits on 1.9-acres of land.
Värde Partners is a leading global alternative investment firm specializing in credit and credit-related assets. It was founded in 1993 and the firm has invested more than $100 billion across the credit quality and liquidity spectrum in both public and private markets.
Unity Medical Properties is a real estate investment firm. Nothing else was disclosed.
This is Värde Partners and Unity Medical Properties’ first partnership. The seller was an affiliate of Healthpeak Properties, who bought the property for $14 million in 2015.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 20th ASC transaction of 2024. It is also the largest ASC deal in terms of purchase price of the year, so far.
