Heartland Dental announced that it entered into an agreement to acquire Vanderbilt Estates Dental for an undisclosed price.
Vanderbilt Estates Dental is based in Naples, Florida and provides preventative dentistry, emergency dentistry and restorative dentistry. According to the website, the practice has one provider on staff: Dr. Gillian Plummer-Molina.
Heartland Dental is a dental support organization providing non-clinical, administrative support services with more than 2,600 doctors in more than 1,650 locations across 38 states. The company is majority-owned by KKR, a global investment firm.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this deal represents the 285th Physician Medical Group acquisition of the year, and the 145th dental transaction. This transaction also marks Heartland Dental’s 10th acquisition of 2024, expanding its presence in Florida.
