Big Sky Medical announced the acquisition a 38,709-square-foot Class A medical outpatient building (MOB) located in Cedar Park, a suburb of Austin, Texas.

The property is 100% net- leased to Baylor Scott & White Health, Texas’s largest not-for-profit healthcare system. The Cedar Park facility offers a wide range of medical services, including preventive care, primary care and specialized treatments.

Big Sky Medical is a national real estate investment management firm that invests in healthcare-related real estate, with a concentration in the medical office and life science sectors. The firm, which is headquartered in Dallas, has more than $2 billion in healthcare real estate investment experience and was purchased by GFH Financial in early 2023.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 110th MOB transaction of the year. This is the 14th MOB to be purchased in Texas in 2024. Additionally, this marks Big Sky’s fifth MOB acquisition of the year. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
