DermCare Management has announced its third transaction of 2024 with the acquisition of Bassin Plastic Surgery and Boyne Dermatology.
Bassin Plastic Surgery is located in Orlando, Viera, Tampa and Lady Lake, Florida. According to its website, there are three providers on staff that provide services such as liposuction, rhinoplasties and breast augmentations.
Boyne Dermatology has one location in Jacksonville, Florida. According to its website, it has one provider on staff: Dr. Joy R. Boyne MD.
DermCare Management, a portfolio company of New York-based private equity firm Hildred Capital Management since October 2019, is a physician practice management company with clinics in California, Florida and Texas. It was founded in 2017 as a group of five founding practices including 15 South Florida locations.
These new partners in Florida align with DermCare’s commitment to furthering access to exceptional patient-centered care for patients in central and northern Florida. The financial terms were not disclosed. The acquisition of Bassin Plastic Surgery is the third time that DermCare has made an acquisition in the plastic surgery space, expanding its services beyond just dermatology.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 272nd Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2024. There have also been 11 dermatology transactions in 2024 and 10 plastic surgery deals.
