Dover Health announced that it is expanding its footprint into Illinois with its latest acquisitions. The company purchased Centered Care Hospice and Palliative Care and Cornerstone Home Healthcare LLC, both in the Chicago MSA.
Centered Care Hospice and Palliative Care provides hospice and palliative care in Joliet, Illinois and the surrounding areas.
Cornerstone Home Healthcare LLC is a provider of home health services, offering home therapy, skilled nursing, social work and home health aides for patients meeting Medicare’s home health eligibility. Cornerstone is also based in Joliet, Illinois.
Through these acquisitions, Dover Health is expanding its footprint into Illinois, now serving Cook, DeKalb, DuPage, Grundy, Kane, Kankakee, Kendall, Lake and Will counties. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 38th and 39th Home Health & Hospice (HH&H) deals of 2024, respectively. Additionally, the Centered Care Hospice and Palliative Care deal marks the seventh transaction in the home hospice and palliative care specialty this year, while the Cornerstone Home Healthcare deal is the 19th home health transaction announced in 2024. There were 100 HH&H deals announced during 2023, and 115 announced during 2022.
