Golden State Dermatology (GSD), a portfolio company of growth capital private equity firm, Sorenson Capital, announced that it acquired California Skin Surgery Center.
California Skin Surgery Center is operated by Dr. Gregory M. Bricca, who works out of one location in Roseville, California.
GSD is physician-owned and led and is rapidly growing with more than 35 locations more than 100 providers across California. GSD’s services include dermatology, cosmetics, Mohs surgery for skin cancer, pathology and plastic surgery.
This is GSD’s fourth acquisition in 2024. The financial terms were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 195th Physician Medical Group transaction of the year, and the seventh in the dermatology specialty.
