Ivy Fertility, a global leader in advanced reproductive technology, in-vitro fertilization (IVF) and third-party reproduction, announced on April 29 that it has acquired Dallas IVF. The addition of Dallas IVF expands Ivy Fertility’s presence in Texas.
Dallas IVF is a fertility practice serving patients in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth MSA. With locations in Dallas, Frisco, Tyler and McKinney, Texas, Dallas IVF has helped more than 13,000 babies come into the world since its founding in 1997. The Frisco location is also home to a state-of-the-art IVF lab and surgery center. According to its website, the practice has four providers on staff.
Ivy Fertility, a portfolio company of private equity firm InTandem Capital Partners, is recognized as pioneers and innovators in the field of advanced reproductive technologies, in vitro fertilization, third-party reproduction, andrology and research.
The Ivy Fertility network now includes 52 reproductive endocrinologists in 27 locations across 9 states. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 169th Physician Medical Group (PMG) transaction of 2024, and the eighth in the OB/GYN specialty. This compares to last year, when there were 181 PMG and eight OB/GYN deals announced between January 1, 2023, and April 29, 2023. Additionally, this also marks Ivy Fertility’s first transaction of 2024. The company announced three acquisitions during 2023, and four during 2022, all in the OB/GYN specialty.
