Ivy Rehab, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Waud Capital Partners, has partnered with AmeriCare Physical Therapy in New Jersey.

Founded in 2006, AmeriCare Physical Therapy is a provider of outpatient physical therapy and rehabilitation in Mountainside, Garwood, Piscataway and Warren, New Jersey.

Founded in 2003, Ivy Rehab is a network of outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy and applied behavior analysis clinics throughout the United States.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 12th Rehabilitation deal announced so far during 2024. This is a 37% decrease from last year, when 19 Rehabilitation transactions were announced between January 1, 2023, and April 17, 2023.

Ivy Rehab has announced 19 deals since 2016, all in the Rehabilitation sector. This also marks Ivy Rehab’s fourth deal announcement in New Jersey.
