MB2 Dental Solutions, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners, announced on March 21 that it expanded its foothold in Texas with the acquisition of Dental Wellness of Anna.
Dental Wellness of Anna operates out of one location in Anna, Texas and, according to its website, has two providers on staff. The facility spans 3,030 square feet, featuring 11 state-of-the-art operation rooms.
MB2 Dental Solutions partners with dentists and specialists. Founded in 2007, MB2 offers general dentistry services, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.
The original press release notes that this acquisition is the 700th practice to be brought under MB2’s umbrella. This also represents MB2 Dental’s 20th transaction of 2024. Through these transactions, it has expanded its network by more than 45 providers. The financial terms were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 124th Physician Medical Group deal of 2024, and the 58th in the dental specialty. This represents a 89% increase from last year, when 36 dental transactions were reported between January 1, 2023, and March 21, 2023.
