MAX Surgical Specialty Management announced on February 26 that it has entered a new state. The company partnered with Lititz Oral Surgery, which has two locations in Pennsylvania.
Lititz Oral Surgery is led by oral & maxillofacial surgery specialist Dr. John Vakkas and is located in Lititz and Hershey, Pennsylvania. According to its website, Dr. Vakkas is the only provider on staff.
MAX Surgical Specialty Management provides growth capital and administrative support services to partner oral and maxillofacial surgery practices. MAX uniquely values the importance of quality care and service to its patients and its referring physician partners. MAX supports 28 surgeons in 21 locations across four states. It is backed by MedEquity Capital, RF Investment Partners and Kian Capital.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 82nd Physician Medical Group transaction of 2024, 37 of them in the dental specialty. This also represents MAX’s third transaction of 2024. Since January, the company has acquired seven dental practices in New York, Vermont and Pennsylvania. Financial terms for all the deals have not been disclosed.
