CBRE Group, Inc. announced that it has arranged the sale of a portfolio of six medical office building (MOB) properties in Northern Kentucky to Remedy Medical Properties. CBRE represented the seller, Zalla Companies, in the transaction. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Totaling 145,308 square feet, the properties are located in Florence, Fort Mitchell, Crittenden, Walton, Alexandria and Butler, Kentucky. St. Elizabeth Physicians, a health system based in Erlanger, Kentucky, fully occupies the portfolio.
Remedy Medical Properties is a full-service healthcare real estate company and the largest private owner of healthcare properties in the country, with more than 30 million square feet and 25 offices spanning 43 states.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 32nd MOB acquisition of 2024. This also marks the third transaction CBRE has advised on so far this year, all of which have been in the MOB specialty. There were 194 MOB transactions reported during 2023, and 215 during 2022.
