Apollo Intelligence announced that it has acquired GlocalMind, a global technology-driven healthcare market research services and panel company. By adding GlocalMind’s real-time panel sourcing network and recruiting capabilities to its platform, Apollo expands its panel access to global healthcare professionals and key opinion leaders. This will help deliver multi-country healthcare market research with industry-leading speed-to-insights and high-quality data.

Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Bengaluru, India, GlocalMind is a multi-mode healthcare data collection/sampling company supporting clients with their healthcare market research needs. GlocalMind provides access to 1.5 million healthcare professionals in more than 50 countries across more than 80 physician specialties.

Apollo is a provider of real-time data and insights to the healthcare and life science industries. Apollo provides access to 2 million healthcare stakeholders worldwide, including physicians, patients, caregivers and allied healthcare professionals. Apollo’s more than 220 employees support global pharmaceutical brands, market research agencies and consultancies across 13 countries in the Americas, Europe and Asia.

The Apollo platform launched in 2019 with its acquisition of InCrowd, a pioneer of real-time, automated insights for the life science industry. The company was acquired by private equity firm Frazier Healthcare Partners in June 2022.

The acquisition of GlocalMind marks Apollo’s third move since 2019 to enhance its life science market insights offering.

“Life science companies face unprecedented demands to bring new therapies to market faster than ever before. They need trusted insights partners with transformative solutions to do this,” said Daniel S. Fitzgerald, CEO and President of Apollo.

“GlocalMind is a respected brand in our space and aligns with our commitment to tech-enabled innovation. As part of the Apollo family, GlocalMind supports our ‘follow-the-sun’ vision, optimizing time and efficiency for our clients around the globe,” he continued.

Apollo was assisted in this transaction by Goodwin Procter, LLP as legal advisor, and Alvarez and Marsal, acting as tax advisor.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 42nd eHealth acquisition of 2024, and the sixth in the analytics specialty. During 2023, there were 273 eHealth and 35 analytics transactions announced.
