First Coast Cardiovascular Institute (FCCI), a Cardiovascular Logistics partner practice, has joined forces with CardioHealth. Together, they aim to advance cardiovascular care across Northeast Florida.
CardioHealth is a Jacksonville, Florida-based cardiovascular practice that specializes in delivering exceptional care to patients with hypertension, congestive heart failure, atrial fibrillation and valvular heart disease. According to its website, the practice has one provider on staff.
FCCI offers cardiovascular medicine, sleep medicine, pulmonology and amputation prevention to residents in Northeast Florida and Southern Georgia.
In this partnership, FCCI will integrate the CardioHealth team into its practice. FCCI, in conjunction with Cardiovascular Logistics, will support CardioHealth with advanced technology and data analytics to lead value-based care initiatives and back-office infrastructure and support. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
This marks FCCI’s first transaction since it was acquired by Cardiovascular Logistics in April 2023.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 41st Physician Medical Group (PMG) transaction of the year, and the first in the cardiology specialty. During 2023, there were 535 PMG and 29 cardiology deals announced.
