MB2 Dental Solutions launched into 2024 with a strong start and lots of deal activity. As of January 23, 2024, the company has already announced its acquisition of five practices.
The practices are: Beautiful Smiles in Manasquan, New Jersey; Lehigh Acres and Fort Myers, Florida-based Caloosa Dental; the practice of Dr. Michael Rogers in El Cajon, California; Jean Chan, DDS & Associates based out of California; and Smile Loft, located in Silver Spring and Camp Springs, Maryland.
Together, the practices add 13 providers to MB2 Dental’s portfolio. The financial terms were not disclosed.
MB2 Dental Solutions, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners since February 2021, partners with dentists and specialists. Founded in 2007, MB2 offers general dentistry services, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 31st Physician Medical Group transaction of the year, and the 11th in the dental specialty. In 2023, MB2 completed 59 acquisitions.
