Sight360, backed by California-based private equity firm SBJ Capital, announced on January 22 that it has combined with Florida Eye Specialists & Cataract Institute (FESCI). With this partnership, Sight360 expands their combined scope of care to more patients in Pinellas, Hillsborough, Pasco, Hernando, Citrus and Polk Counties, Florida.
Founded in 1981 by Dr. Gregory Henderson, FESCI serves patients on the west coast of Florida with the full scope of ophthalmology, optometry, cosmetic surgery and hearing services. With eight locations in the Tampa MSA, the practice has 32 providers on staff, according to its website.
Sight360 provides integrated vision care services, including ophthalmology, optometry, optical services and related surgeries at 18 locations in the Tampa, Florida region.
The two Tampa Bay-based eye care groups will have a combined 29 locations, 50 physicians, more than 250,000 patients and significant runway for continued expansion throughout the Tampa region. No financial details were disclosed.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 25th Physician Medical Group acquisition of 2024, and the fifth in the eye care specialty. During 2023, there were 527 PMG and 47 eye care transactions announced.
