AllerVie Health announced its acquisition of Allergy & Asthma Associates of DuPage, expanding the network’s reach to the Chicago MSA.
Allergy & Asthma Associates of DuPage is an allergist treating patients from two locations in Naperville and Downers Grove, Illinois. According to its website, the practice has three providers on staff.
AllerVie Health is a national network of board-certified allergists and immunologists partnering together for the advancement of patient care, serving patients across 13 states in more than 80 clinic locations.
In the coming months, the practice’s two locations in Naperville and Downers Grove will fully transition to the AllerVie Health brand, adopting and rolling out a new digital patient experience. Dr. Asya Segalene and the medical professionals at Allergy & Asthma Associates of DuPage will continue offering allergy and immunology services to patients across the greater Chicago area, ensuring continuity of care. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this represents the 20th Physician Medical Group (PMG) transaction of 2024, as well as the first internal medicine deal. There were 522 PMG deals announced during 2023, including 46 in the internal medicine specialty. AllerVie made two acquisitions in the PMG space last year. The company acquired Allergy & Asthma Care of Florida, Allergy Sinus & Asthma Family Health Center and West Texas Allergy in January 2023.
