West Palm Beach, Florida-based Hanley Foundation announced that it has acquired Origins Behavioral HealthCare. According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 78th Behavioral Health Care acquisition of 2023, and the 23rd in the substance use disorder specialty.

Origins Behavioral HealthCare’s mental health and addiction treatment centers offer comprehensive, evidence-based treatment for adults in Texas and Florida.

Hanley Foundation is a nonprofit company providing substance abuse prevention and education programs for parents and caregivers.

The agreement encompasses all of Origins’ locations across Texas and Florida, including Hanley Center in West Palm Beach. Hanley Foundation will be adding 272 staff members through the acquisition and will have the ability to provide substance use addiction and mental health treatment to more than 1,000 patients annually. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
