Partnered Health, a portfolio company of Quadrant Private Equity, has acquired a psychology services platform in a small but strategic bolt-on acquisition. The company announced its acquisition of New View Psychology (NVP) on November 30, 2023.
Founded in 2005, NVP is an Australian business that connects organizations with psychologists. NVP acts as a bridge between its network of nearly 150 psychologists across the country and parties in need of their services, including GP clinics, corporates and Employee Assistance Program providers.
Partnered Health is made up of a number of established businesses that have been delivering health services to more than five million people for more than 25 years. The company’s brands include Jobfit Health Group, Partnered Health Medical Centres, Baseline Onsite, Fuel Your Life and Northcare Physio.
NVP was advised by a team from M&A Partners, and received legal advice from David Hallam Lawyers. Quadrant was advised by law firm King & Wood Mallesons. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 74th Behavioral Health Care (BHC) transaction of the year, and the 19th in the counseling specialty. This is a 26% decrease from last year, when there were 100 BHC transactions announced between January 1, 2022, and November 30, 2022.
