On November 13, Orthopedic & Spine Therapy (OST), an orthopedic practice in Wisconsin, announced that select locations are being acquired by NorthLakes Community Clinic (NLCC).
The Bayfield, Iron River, Poplar and Solon Springs locations of OST will become part of NLCC’s network starting on December 18, 2022, according to the press release.
NLCC is a Federally Qualified Community Health Center that operates 16 clinics throughout 12 counties in Wisconsin. The clinic provides care in a variety of healthcare spaces, including behavioral health, dental care, orthopedic care.
This acquisition enhances the partnership between OST and NLCC that has been in existence for more than a decade and represents the next step for increasing NLCC’s reach. The financial terms were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 465th Physician Medical Groups transaction of the year. This also represents the 33rd acquisition in the orthopedic specialty of 2023, which is the exact same number of orthopedic deals announced between January 1, 2022, and November 13, 2022.
