Boston IVF announced that it acquired Rochester Regional Health‘s fertility care center.

The clinics’ services include consultations, treatment management, intrauterine insemination procedures, ultrasound and blood work monitoring and more.

Boston IVF is one of the largest and most experienced fertility networks in the United States, with more than 100,000 babies born since 1986. Founded as one of the nation’s first private practice IVF centers, the Boston IVF network has grown to include more than 30 reproductive endocrinologists across Massachusetts, Maine, New Hampshire, New York, Idaho, Indiana, Ohio, Rhode Island and Utah.

Rochester Regional Health is a health system based in New York. It has more than 700 physicians on staff that cover a wide range of specialties, including cardiology, orthopedics, allergies, reconstructive surgery and more.

Under the Boston IVF umbrella, the fertility clinic will remain unchanged, but now bolstered by the extensive resources of the Boston IVF Fertility Network. The financial terms were not disclosed.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 30th health clinic transaction of the year. This deal also comes after the announcement that Boston IVF was sold to IVI RMA. More information on that transaction can be found here.
