Ivy Rehab, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Waud Capital Partners, has announced a partnership with Physical Therapy and Sports Injury Rehabilitation (PTSIR).
Established in 1976, PTSIR is one of the nation’s oldest physical and occupational therapy practices based in the Greater Chicago area.
Founded in 2003, Ivy Rehab is a network of outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy and ABA clinics throughout the United States.
The acquisition of PTSIR expands Ivy Rehab’s footprint in the Chicago MSA. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 34th Rehabilitation acquisition of 2023. This also marks Ivy Rehab fourth transaction of the year. The company had previously acquired Louisa Physical Therapy, Sora Therapy and Excel Physical Therapy.
