Together in Caring has acquired the care management practice of Inspire Care of Central New York. According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 61th Home Health & Hospice transaction of 2023.
Inspire Care of Central New York is a professional geriatric care management and home-based physical/occupational therapy agency based in Liverpool, New York.
Headquartered in Rochester, New York, Together in Caring is a geriatric care management service that provides care management solutions for older adults, individuals living with Alzheimer’s, dementia or chronic illness and their caregivers. Together in Caring was established in 2022 as a partnership of Lifespan of Greater Rochester, Entrusted Care and Mark McDermott, owner of Touching Hearts at Home.
Leaders at Together in Caring said the acquisition expands its geographic footprint in a way that continues its commitment to quality of care. Rebecca Auyer, owner of For Inspire Care, said the deal allows her to transition her career while ensuring that Inspire Care’s care management clients and employees would be well-served.
The sale of Inspire Care to Together in Caring does not include Auyer’s physical therapy practice. Auyer and her therapist team will continue to offer home therapy services going forward under a different entity whose name will be announced in the future. Together in Caring plans to continue using the Inspire Care name as the company’s brand in Central New York. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
