Cardiovascular Associates of America (CVAUSA) announced its acquisition of The Cardiovascular Center of Florida. This is CVAUSA’s sixth transaction of 2023.
The Cardiovascular Center of Florida operates two locations in Florida. According to its website, the practice is run by 26 physicians.
CVAUSA is a physician management services organization headquartered in Celebration, Florida. Through CVAUSA’s physician-centered practice management model, physicians drive clinical care and their practice culture, while benefiting from the business expertise and shared resources available through CVAUSA. It was formed by Webster Equity Partners in 2021.
Following the completion of the acquisition, the Cardiovascular Center of Florida has plans to open an addition eight locations. The financial terms were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 382nd Physician Medical Groups transaction of the year, and the 21st in the cardiology specialty.
