On August 30, MB2 Dental Solutions announced the opening of its 600th practice location, Highland Creek Family Dental – South, in Lafayette, Indiana. The practice is operated by Dr. Shane Cope, a general dentist.
MB2 Dental initially partnered with Dr. Cope in August 2022 when MB2 purchased Highland Creek Family Dental. Since then, Dr. Cope was able to build a second location.
MB2 Dental Solutions, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners since February 2021, partners with dentists and specialists. Founded in 2007, MB2 offers general dentistry services, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, MB2 Dental has completed 41 dental acquisitions in 2023. This represents 11% of the total Physician Medical Groups acquisitions of the year and 34% of the dental deals in 2023.
