Panoramic Health announced on August 29 its acquisition of Kidney Specialists of South Texas (KSST).
KSST is a nephrology practice with two locations in Corpus Christi, Texas. According to its website, the practice has seven physicians and one nurse practitioner on staff.
Panoramic Health is a physician-led kidney care organization. Panoramic Health’s Clinical Research division partners with sponsors and clinical research organizations to bring treatments to patients with kidney disease.
By leveraging Panoramic Health’s integrated value-based care platform, KSST will enhance care coordination to optimize patient engagement and achieve better clinical and financial outcomes. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 371st Physician Medical Groups transaction of the year, 10 of them in the nephrology specialty. This is also Panoramic Health’s fifth acquisition of 2023. Previously, the company purchased San Antonio Kidney Disease Center, Southwest Nephrology Associates LLP, North Shepard Dialysis Access Center and Permian Basin Kidney Center, Inc.
