Southeast Primary Care Partners (SPCP) announced on July 19 that it acquired Bear Creek Family Practice for an undisclosed price.
Bear Creek Family Practice provides primary care services to Tuscaloosa, Alabama. Dr. Fawad Aryanpure founded Bear Creek Family Practice in 2008 and provides traditional family medicine in addition to on-site lab and X-ray services to more than 3,000 patients annually.
SPCP is a primary care-focused management services organization based in Alpharetta, Georgia.
Partnering with SPCP enables Bear Creek Family Practice to maintain its clinical independence while benefiting from shared resources, innovation and a collaborative environment dedicated to exceptional patient care.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 310th Physician Medical Groups acquisition of 2023, and ninth in the primary care specialty. This transaction also marks SPCP’s second acquisition of 2023. Previously it purchased Ladiga Medical, LLC, an internal medicine practice based in Jacksonville, Alabama with two physicians on staff.
