UnisLink has announced its acquisition of Healthcare Support Technologies (HST), a revenue cycle management (RCM) solutions provider based in New Brighton, Pennsylvania.

HST provides medical billing, credentialing and medical coding services to independent physician practices, federally qualified health centers, rural health clinics and regional health systems across the United States.

UnisLink, a portfolio company of Boston-based private equity firm Riverside Partners, is a national leader in revenue cycle and population health management services for independent physician practices.

HST strengthens UnisLink’s position as a comprehensive provider of RCM solutions and expands the company’s reach both geographically and into new specialty areas, including federally qualified health centers, rural health clinics and behavioral health clinics.

Geoff Lusty, CEO of HST, will join the UnisLink leadership team, effective immediately. HST’s Pennsylvania-based operations will become UnisLink’s seventh regional Operations Center of Excellence. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 139th eHealth transaction of 2023 and the 35th in the RCM specialty. This also marks UnisLink’s first transaction since it was acquired by Riverside Partners in May 2022.
