Dallas County Hospital announced the acquisition of Broadlawns Dallas Center Clinic in Dallas Center, Iowa. The transition will take effect Monday, July 3.

Broadlawns Dallas Center Clinic provides comprehensive individual and family healthcare for patients of all ages. According to its website, the center has one provider and one physician assistant on staff.

Originally known as the King’s Daughter’s Hospital, Dallas County Hospital was founded in 1954 and is a 25-bed critical access hospital serving patients from Dallas, Greene, Guthrie and Boone counties. Located in Perry, Iowa, Dallas County Hospital is run by Mercy Medical Center.

The clinic will now be called DCH Family Medicine Dallas Center. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 260th Physician Medical Groups (PMG) transaction of the year, and 24th in the internal medicine specialty. This is an increase from last year, when there were 244 PMG and 16 internal medicine deals announced between January 1, 2022, and June 8, 2022.
