Main Street Therapy Partners has announced its recent acquisition of Beachwood, Ohio-based Sternen Physical Therapy, as well as its brand, Cleveland BodyWise.
With Main Street Therapy Partners’ support, the Beachwood clinic will continue to operate under its current name and brand, while benefiting from Main Street Therapy Partners’ industry experience and operational, clinical and administrative resources. This acquisition solidifies Main Street Therapy Partners’ commitment to expanding its footprint and providing care to patients across the country. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Founded in 1998, Sternen Physical Therapy’s team specializes in general orthopedic rehabilitation. Its Cleveland BodyWise services, which include BodyWorks hands-on care as well as BodyMoves training and pilates programs, provide a full continuum of care.
Main Street Therapy Partners is a leading provider of outpatient physical therapy services. The company provides physical, occupational and speech therapy services for nursing homes and assisted living facilities across the United States.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this transaction marks the 18th Rehabilitation acquisition of 2023. This represents an approximately 45% drop from 2022 when there were 33 Rehabilitation transactions announced between January 1, 2022, and April 13, 2022.
