Health Advocates Network, a Boca Raton, Florida-based staffing provider, acquired Horizons Healthcare Agency, representing the company’s fourth acquisition. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Horizons Healthcare Agency is a Peoria, Illinois-based provider of travel nursing services and staffing.
Founded in 2020, Health Advocates Network is focused on consolidating the highly fragmented non-clinical healthcare staffing space.
Health Advocates Network’s M&A director, Eddie Albert, stated that the acquisition of Horizons Healthcare Agency aligns with the company’s strategy of expanding its travel nurse and local staffing capabilities and it plans to pursue additional deals to supplement the growing organic business.
According to data captured from the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the ninth healthcare staffing transaction of 2023. This is just ahead of last year, when there were eight healthcare staffing deals reported between January 1, 2022, and April 6, 2022.
