Montecito Medical Real Estate announced on March 22 its acquisition of a 14,600-square-foot ambulatory surgery center (ASC) in Granbury, Texas.
The property is 100% leased to Baylor Scott & White Surgicare in Granbury. Physicians at the multispecialty surgery center, which includes four operating rooms, perform gastroenterology, neurology, ENT, ophthalmology, orthopedics, urology, pain management and podiatry procedures.
The acquisition in Granbury expands Montecito’s footprint in the greater Dallas-Fort Worth MSA. Since the beginning of 2021, the company has acquired 15 medical office properties in the region. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Montecito Medical specializes in healthcare-related real estate acquisitions and funding. Since 2006, it has completed transactions across the U.S. involving more than $5 billion in medical real estate.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the seventh ASC transaction of 2023. There were six ASC deals announced between January 1, 2022, and March 22, 2022.
