Modular Devices, a portfolio company of private equity firm O2 Investment Partners, announced on February 16 that it has partnered with Interim Diagnostic Imaging.

The addition of Interim Diagnostic Imaging significantly increases Modular Devices’ fleet while providing diversification and improving product offerings. The combined company will offer customers a full range of medical imaging labs including catheterization, cleanroom, PET/CT, MRI and CT. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Interim Diagnostic Imaging is a provider of mobile CT and MRI medical imaging labs in the U.S. and Canada. The company was founded in 2003 and is headquartered in Plymouth, Minnesota.

Founded in 1987, Modular Devices is a provider of mobile and modular medical imaging equipment labs and cleanroom solutions throughout the U.S. Modular Devices’ medical imaging solutions offer various imaging modalities through short- and long-term leases to healthcare systems of all sizes. O2 Investment Partners partnered with Modular Devices in January 2022.

There were 23 Laboratories, MRI and Dialysis, including 19 diagnostics acquisitions, announced between January 1, 2022, and February 16, 2022.
