Solaris Health, a portfolio company of private equity firm Lee Equity Partners, has acquired UroPartners and Lowcountry Urology Clinics. Terms of both deals were not disclosed.

The addition of UroPartners and Lowcountry Urology Clinics means that Solaris now aligns the skills and talents of more than 600 providers who annually care for more than 850,000 unique patients located in 12 states.

Solaris Health is a national healthcare platform committed to enhancing access to specialty health care. The group was formed in June 2020 when Lee Equity Partners purchased and merged Integrated Medical Professionals and The Urology Group.

Melrose Park, Illinois-based UroPartners is the Midwest’s largest independent urology group, serving Illinois and southern Wisconsin. UroPartners’ 90 providers care for 100,000 patients each year.

Lowcountry Urology Clinics, which merged five Charleston, South Carolina, urology practices in 2006, has 13 providers who care for 20,000 patients each year.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the second urology practice transaction of 2023. There were eight urology deals in 2022.
