Confluent Health, a portfolio company of Swiss-based private equity firm Partners Group, announced on February 1 its newest partnership with MOTION PT Group.
The partnership brings Confluent Health’s national footprint to 609 private practice clinics in 35 states. The partnership will allow MOTION PT to maintain its existing branding while gaining access to Confluent Health’s ecosystem of management services as well as education and musculoskeletal health resources.
MOTION PT Group is a physical therapy, occupational therapy and speech therapy company with 59 clinic locations across Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maryland and New York.
Confluent Health includes physical and occupational therapy companies transforming health care by strengthening private practices, developing effective clinicians, innovating new services and technology to improve the quality of care for patients and lowering costs via more effective treatment, workplace wellness and injury prevention.
According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the third Rehabilitation transaction of 2023. Throughout 2022, there were 80 Rehabilitation transactions announced.
