California-based Agile Occupational Medicine announced the completion of its merger with Pinnacle HealthCare. Combined, the practices total  14 clinics throughout California and Yuma, Arizona, creating the fourth-largest occupational medical group in California. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Agile Occupational Medicine is an owner and operator of occupational healthcare clinics. From drug screenings to workplace injury treatment, Agile offers a range of occupational health programs that help employers maintain a healthy and safe workforce, while providing cost-effective health care for local companies and employees.

Founded in 1999, Pinnacle HealthCare provides medical care for non-life-threatening situations as well as occupational medicine options and urgent care. The company has eight locations.

According to data captured in the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the sixth occupational health transaction of 2023. During the same time frame of 2022 (January 1, 2022, through January 25, 2022) there were no occupational health transactions announced. There were 10 occupational health deals reported during the entirety of 2022.
