Together Women’s Health (TWH), a management services organization backed by Shore Capital Partners, announced on December 21 that it acquired OB/GYN South, P.C. This acquisition represents TWH’s third transaction of 2022. The financial terms were not disclosed.
TWH supports its affiliated practices and physician partners with strategic guidance, administrative resources (including revenue cycle management, marketing, human resources, finance, accounting and IT), operational expertise and capital. The company is based in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
OB/GYN South has three locations in Alabama and is run by 12 providers. In addition to offering obstetric and gynecological care, the practice offers in-office mammography, urogynecology and pelvic pain services.
According to data captured from the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 39th women’s health/fertility transaction of 2022, a 129% increase from January 1, 2021, through December 21, 2022, when 17 women’s health/fertility deals were announced.
