Ivy Rehab, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Waud Capital Partners, added two clinics to its footprint through its partnership with Maximum Performance Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation.

Maximum Performance Physical Therapy and Sports Rehabilitation was founded in 2013 by siblings James Van Dien and Paige Palmer. The practice offers orthopedic and sports physical rehabilitation in New Jersey, serving primarily the Bergen, Essex, Hudson and Passaic counties.

Founded in 2003, Ivy Rehab is a network of outpatient physical, occupational and speech therapy and ABA clinics throughout the United States.

According to data captured from the LevinPro HC database, this represents the 80th Rehabilitation transaction of 2022, an approximately 15% decrease from last year when there were 94 deals announced between January 1, 2021 and December 22, 2021. This also marks Ivy Rehab’s seventh announced acquisition of 2022. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
