Carrollton, Texas-based MB2 Dental Solutions announced its acquisition of Borengasser Family Dental, marking the 197th dental transaction of the year.
MB2 Dental Solutions, a portfolio company of middle-market private equity firm Charlesbank Capital Partners since February 2021, partners with dentists and specialists. Founded in 2007, MB2 offers general dentistry services, orthodontics, cosmetic dentistry and oral surgery.
Borengasser Family Dental is run by Dr. Wes Borengasser. Borengasser Family Dental specializes in a wide range of dental services, including Invisalign and whitening treatments, as well as TMJ therapy. The practice has one location in Fort Smith, Arkansas.
This acquisition represents MB2 Dental’s 39th transaction in 2022 and strengthens MB2 Dental’s position in Arkansas. The financial terms were not disclosed.
According to the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition marks the 574th Physician Medical Groups (PMG) transaction of the year. The dental specialty accounts for 34% of the PMG acquisitions in 2022.
