Millstone Medical Outsourcing has acquired MycoScience.
Headquartered in Willington, Connecticut, MycoScience has more than 30 years of expertise in medical device and pharmaceutical laboratory testing, environmental testing and related regulatory support services.
Fall River, Massachusetts-based Millstone Medical Outsourcing is a provider of customized outsourcing solutions to the medical device industry with a client roster of global original equipment manufacturers and emerging-growth companies. Millstone was acquired by private equity firm Arlington Capital Partners in January 2022.
MycoScience’s leadership team will remain at the helm. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
According to the LevinPro HC database, this was the 33rd contract development manufacturing organization (CDMO) transaction of 2022. That compares with 32 CDMO deals reported between January 1, 2021, and November 22, 2021.
