PhyNet Dermatology, a portfolio company of Century Equity Partners, announced its acquisition of Dermatology Center of Dallas. This acquisition represents PhyNet Dermatology’s third transaction of the year.
Dermatology Center of Dallas has one location in Dallas, Texas and is run by two providers. It was founded in 2001.
PhyNet Dermatology LLC is a dermatology practice management company headquartered in Franklin, Tennessee. With more than 100 locations in 17 states across the United States, PhyNet Dermatology offers administrative management and support that enables physicians to focus their efforts on providing patient care.
With the acquisition, Dermatology Center of Dallas will join the PhyNet Dermatology network and take advantage of PhyNet’s operational expertise. The affiliation expands PhyNet Dermatology’s network further Texas, making it the 17th state with more than 110 locations across the country. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.
According to the LevinPro HC database, this transaction represents the 539th Physician Medical Groups (PMG) acquisition of the year, 30th in the dermatology subsector.
