Rock Dental Brands announced its acquisition of Coastline Orthodontics, marking Rock Dental Brands’ third transaction of 2022.
Backed by The Vistria Group, Rock Dental Brands is a practice management group started by dentists that provides support to general and dental specialist affiliates, including Westrock Orthodontics, Leap Kids Dental, Rock Family Dental and Impact Oral Surgery and a host of other independent brands.
Coastline Orthodontics was founded in 1985 and has two locations in Jacksonville, in addition to clinics in Fernandina Beach and Macclenny, Florida. It is run by six providers.
With this acquisition, Rock Dental Brands now manages 102 dental offices in Arkansas, Missouri, Tennessee, Alabama and Florida. The financial terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. This marks Rock Dental Brands’ third transaction of 2022.
According to the LevinPro HC database, this acquisition represents the 175th dental transaction of the year.
