Exton, Pennsylvania-based US Digestive Health, a portfolio company of Amulet Capital Partners, acquired Delaware Center for Digestive Care (DCDC) in the company’s first partnership outside Pennsylvania. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Provident Healthcare Partners, a Boston-based healthcare investment banking firm, advised DCDC. Provident’s deal team was led by managing directors Eric Major and Kevin Palamara. Maynard Cooper & Gale served as legal counsel to DCDC.

DCDC was formed in 2016 and is headquartered in Newark, Delaware.

US Digestive Health was formed in May 2019 through the acquisition and merger of Regional GI, Main Line Gastroenterology Associates and Digestive Disease Associates. US Digestive Health consists of 29 locations, 17 ambulatory surgery centers, more than 200 GI providers and more than 950 employees throughout Delaware and southeastern, central and southwestern Pennsylvania.

According to the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 454th Physician Medical Group transaction of 2022 and the 21st deal within the gastroenterology subsector. This also marks US Digestive Health’s second acquisition of the year. The company also acquired Uniontown and Connellsville, Pennsylvania-based Southwestern Gastrointestinal Specialists for an undisclosed price in July 2022.
