AW Property Company has acquired Woolbright Medical Plaza, which consists of two medical office buildings (MOBs) totaling 33,154 square feet in Boynton Beach, Florida.
JLL Capital Markets announced on September 26 that it closed the sale and represented the seller, TopMed Realty. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Woolbright Medical Plaza is 93% leased to several physician medical groups providing radiology/imaging, ENT, primary care, dentistry and physical therapy services. Anchor tenants include Akumin Corp., ENT Associates of South Florida and Kindred Healthcare. TopMed converted and rebranded the office complex to a medical office plaza and increased its occupancy from 63% to 93%.
According to the LevinPro HC database, this marks the 410th Other Services transaction of 2022, and the 154th MOB acquisition. The most active acquirer in the MOB space this year has been Montecito Medical Real Estate with 31 acquisitions, encompassing approximately 1,059,403 square feet.
