A portfolio company of Shore Capital Partners, Together Women’s Health (TWH), acquired OB/GYN clinics Northwestern Specialists for Women and North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics. The acquisitions were announced on August 30 and neither price was disclosed.
TWH is a management services organization that works for women’s health and OB/GYN providers. It supports affiliated practices and physician partners with strategic guidance, administrative resources, operational expertise and capital.
Northwestern Specialists for Women is a health, obstetrics and gynecologic practice in Chicago with privileges at Northwestern Medicine Prentice Women’s Hospital. It has one location and 11 providers.
North Shore Associates in Gynecology and Obstetrics has two locations in the Chicago suburbs. It is operated by five providers and six midwives.
The acquisitions add 16 providers and three locations to the TWH network. This marks TWH’s third transaction of 2022. TWH acquired Obstetrics & Gynecology Associates in Grosse Pointe, Michigan, which is run by six providers, and Paint Creek OB/GYN in Rochester Hills, Michigan, that’s run by five providers.
According to the LevinPro HC database, this is the seventh OB/GYN/women’s health acquisition of the year, a slight increase from the same time last year that saw six deals. It is the 382nd Physicians Medical Group (PMG) deal of the year and the 38th in August.
