Dental Care Alliance announced that it acquired Nevid Dental in Pawling, New York, and Burleson Pediatric Dentistry in Burleson, Texas, for undisclosed prices. The acquisitions mark Dental Care Alliance’s fifth and sixth deals of 2022 and the company’s 11th deal in the LevinPro HC database.

Founded in 1991 and headquartered in Sarasota, Florida, Dental Care Alliance (DCA) is a portfolio company of Harvest Partners, LP. DCA is one of the largest multi-branded dental support organizations in the U.S., with 380 affiliated dental offices and more than 775 dentists across 21 states. DCA’s allied practices represent all dental specialties and treat patients under more than 140 brand names.

Nevid Dental is run by a team of six dentists. Primary services include preventive and restorative care, extractions, cosmetic treatments, root canals, implants and periodontic dentistry. 

Owned and operated by four doctors, Burleson Pediatric Dentistry serves the greater Dallas-Fort Worth area. Primary services include pediatric diagnostic, preventive and restorative care.

The acquisition of Nevid Dental brings DCA’s footprint in New York to 19 allied practices and the acquisition of Burleson Pediatric Dentistry boosts DCA’s footprint in Texas to 32 practices. Combined, these two deals bring DCA’s presence to more than 380 practices across the country.

These two transactions mark the 285th and 286th Physician Medical Group (PMG) deals of the year with 73 dental PMG deals. Other active dental acquirers this year are MB2 Dental Solutions with seven deals, Imagen Dental Partners with five deals and U.S. Oral Surgery Management also with five deals. During the first quarter of 2022 there were 28 dental deals and in the second quarter there were 42 dental deals. So far, the third quarter has seen three dental deals, with the total to rise during the quarter.
